Pelicans’ turquoise glow on new screens in ISKU Arena’s VIP area

Taitori invited customers and partners to watch the Pelicans vs. SaiPa game at the ISKU Arena in Lahti. The goal was to spend time together enjoying a VIP experience and to see how the Taitori for Arena app can elevate the visitor experience to a new level.

With the app’s smooth pre-planning capabilities, guests could park their cars in the VIP parking area and manage their entry to the VIP box using a QR code.

Nowadays, both sports arenas and office spaces can enjoy the door and information displays provided by Taitori from ProDVX, which can be customized with the team’s or company’s brand colors. The screensaver mode can also feature a custom image. Taitori aims to strengthen its cooperation with the popular display provider and has signed a partnership agreement with the Dutch company ProDVX.

Pelicans’ CEO Lauri Pöyhönen also greeted the guests and Taitori representatives in the turquoise-branded environment.

Increasing average spending of game visitors by digitalizing booking and sales Services

The Taitori for Arena app has already been piloted with the ice hockey team Jukurit, and now Pelicans joined as a pioneer in the second phase of the pilot, which digitalized various stages of the customer journey. Traditionally, information about the VIP boxes available for booking has been on the ice hockey team’s website, with reservations made by phone or email. With Taitori for Arena, the sales service can be digitalized, and the booking status of the VIP boxes is available in real-time. Visitor data from the VIP boxes, as well as from company season tickets, which often have multiple users, is collected. In addition to VIP boxes, fan products, catering, and additional services can be managed through the app.

Visitor management is also conveniently handled with the Taitori for Arena app, which interested Taitori’s guests. It enables the game experience to start before the event, during, and after it. The app assists from the invitation stage and ensures, for example, that catering and fan products are remembered to be ordered, allergies and parking needs are taken into account. Information about participants is stored in the club’s register for follow-up sales and feedback collection.

VIP event organizers might be interested in additional services, such as a photographer and a short video summary of the game night or organizing the experience so that the package includes not only the VIP box but also a paid ready-made group of local decision-makers.

Additionally, the VIP host often organizes a score prediction for the evening’s game result. With visitor management, the score prediction can be included in the branded invitation. This time, the correct score prediction was 4-3. Pelicans led the game twice, but SaiPa managed to equalize and eventually win the game. Whether it was the exciting game itself, the catering, other services, or the company of the guests, participants rated their satisfaction with the VIP experience 5/5 in the feedback survey.
